All-in-One Anti-Aging

VX.1 is our all-in-one hero cream, which means it's meant to treat a broad swath of aging issues. While any adult can use it, it's designed to reverse existing damage (wrinkles, spots, roughness) and get your skin acting younger.

First, make sure that on the nights you're using VX.1, you're washing your face with a gentle, non-soap cleanser and avoiding other products with potentially harsh ingredients. Still irritated? Try the sandwich method: Apply a gentle moisturizer both before and after VX.1. Still irritated? Stop using VX.1 for two days; dab a healing ointment onto the touchy areas twice daily. When you restart VX.1, scale up slowly to ensure tolerability; you may want to cap VX.1 at 2-3 times per week. Still irritated? VX.1 does all the things. Everyone gets ingredients for cellular renewal, wrinkles, hydration, firming, and overall retexturizing. Then we'll customize your cream with additional actives for sensitivity, hyperpigmentation/dark spots, and/or acne. It's a great option if you're low-maintenance and looking for advanced therapies in one tube. If your anti-aging goals are to target wrinkles and only wrinkles—and you'd prefer to dab a cream on just those areas rather than your entire face—VX.2 is your pick.

We combine tretinoin with bakuchiol because they work synergistically. Not only does bakuchiol provide anti-aging benefits that complement tret, but it also provides skin-calming and -soothing benefits that help make tret more tolerable to sensitive skin types.

If you are pregnant or nursing, you should not use products that contain tretinoin, found in VX.1. Anyone with a known allergy or irritation to any of the ingredients should also avoid VX.1. See more in our safety information.

General rule: Apply the most active ingredients first (VX.1), allowing them to penetrate the skin without going through another layer of product. After this absorbs (wait a few minutes), you can follow with a basic hydrating serum or moisturizer—emphasis on "basic." Why? After using a prescription product like VX.1, our dermatologists don't recommend slathering on anything that could interfere. Other ingredients could inactivate or possibly even make the effects of VX.1 more potent (not in a good way!).

You can use it indefinitely—there's no time limit.

Our blend of hyaluronic acid creates an immediate plumping effect. In a few weeks, other actives will start to kick in with subtle but meaningful anti-aging changes. If you're using red light therapy, treat with the red light first, and then apply VX.1 afterwards. Going in the opposite order can make tretinoin, a key ingredient in VX.1, break down and become less effective.
